Lifting the cab roof.

We plan to have two of these. This one for full 13'5" GWR lines, and a 'cut down' version at 13'5" for Network Rail.

The inside motion.

The centre set of driving wheels are linked to the centre pistons by way of these huge balanced cranks. The drive for the valve gear for all the pistons is derived from the two slim eccentrics in the middle.
